I'm a scientist turned designer. I've worked at agencies, startups, and spent the last 7 years at Google as a lead designer and manager.

My journey to design wasn't straight forward.

I grew up in the 80s and 90s with some of the best sci-fi ever existed. When someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always thought of MacGyver and Doc Brown as my role models.

This drove me to get a degree in cell biology and molecular genetics at University of Maryland. I worked as a research assistant in Cornell Medical College, and studied developmental genetics, cancer and vascular biology.

Looking at the world as a scientist made me a curious person and always pushed me to explore ways to invent and innovate. So I got a masters in Design and Technology at Parsons the New School for Design where I explored multimedia projects that blurred the line between science and art.

After grad school, I worked as a creative technologist and a UX/UI designer. I had the opportunity collaborate with a variety of individuals and small companies exposing me to a wide range of industries including healthcare, marketing, finance, education, commerce and fashion. This attracted me to big tech where I could apply all of this knowledge to products that have global reach.

I spent the last 7 years at Google. I worked in 3 different product areas including Chrome, AR Hardware and Cloud where I led teams and launched products enjoyed by billions.

Currently, I am open to explore collaborations where I get to contribute to good tech, good culture and hopefully a happier world.
