In 2015, my close friend and collaborator Burcum Turkmen and I was commissioned by the renowned Turkish fashion designer Arzu Kaprol to design and build a wearable technology project to be showcased at the Vodafone Technology Summit in Istanbul. We developed a smart jacket that responds to weather by morphing its shape and temperature to comfort the wearer.

The jacket would close its hood and shrink its length as well as cooling the wearer with a wearable AC unit in warm weather and, it would do the opposite in the cold.

Getting here was not easy, we had countless hours programming and engineering but thankfully we finished with a product we all loved.
